Wendi Zhang, OD, is an optometry resident in the Combined Residency/MS in Vision Science program at the SUNY College of Optometry and a Clinical Assistant Instructor at the University Eye Center. She graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2025 and is expected to complete her residency in 2027. Her work integrates specialty contact lens care, ocular surface disease management, and clinical education. Dr. Wendi Zhang is actively conducting research on visual performance with soft contact lenses under suboptimal conditions and has prior research experience in myopia management and dry eye. She is committed to advancing evidence-based specialty contact lens education and patient care.
