Shannon Gavin O.D.
Resident Optometrist, Emory Eye Center
Originally from Savannah, Georgia, Shannon Gavin, O.D. earned a B.S. in Cognitive Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University in 2021. She went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree at The New England College of Optometry in 2025. She is currently a resident in Cornea/Contact Lens and Ocular Disease at Emory Eye Center in Atlanta, Georgia. She hopes to pursue a career in a hospital, academic, or OD/MD setting where she can see patients of all ages and ocular conditions. When she's not in clinic, she enjoys going on hikes and exploring Atlanta's music and food culture.
