Laura Baldino OD

Laura Baldino, OD, is the current Cornea and Contact Lens Resident at the State University of New York College of Optometry. During her time as a student at SUNY Optometry, she was a Cornea and Contact Lens Microcredential candidate and served as a CooperVision Contact Lens Student Leader. She earned the Beta Sigma Kappa Award for Academic Excellence as well as the Johnson & Johnson Award for Excellence in Clinical Contact Lenses and Patient Care.
Laura has a strong interest in specialty lenses, with particular emphasis on scleral and gas permeable lens designs. She is passionate about improving vision and quality of life for patients with complex corneal conditions. She aspires to pursue a career as a specialty lens fitter and is dedicated to advancing clinical excellence through education, research, and patient-centered care.
