Jessica Walter OD, FAAO

Jessica Walter, OD, FAAO is an assistant professor at the MCPHS School of Optometry. She earned her BS from the University of Connecticut (2014) and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University (2018), graduating with academic and clinical honors, followed by a residency in Cornea and Contact Lenses at the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University. After a brief period in private practice, Dr. Walter transitioned to academic optometry, serving as an assistant professor at the Kentucky College of Optometry before joining MCPHS in 2023. She is the instructor of record for Contact Lens I and II and serves as a clinical preceptor in the contact lens and primary care services. Her professional interests include specialty contact lenses, advanced cornea care, and optometric education.
