Jason R. Chin OD

Dr. Jason Chin is a graduate of McGill University and he received his Optometry Degree from the New England College of Optometry in 2004, where he graduated with clinical honors and was the local and national recipient of the Alcon Award for Clinical Excellence.

Dr. Chin also furthered his specialty training by completing a cornea and contact lens residency in 2005 at the New England College of Optometry where he was awarded the American Optometric Foundation's "Dr. George Mertz Contact Lens Residency Award".

After completing his residency, Dr. Chin was a full time professor at the New England College of Optometry before switching to full time private practice. Dr. Chin now practices full time at Andover Eye Associates in addition to being the principal investigator for Andover Eye Institute and a clinical consultant for ORA. Inc.

 Dr. Chin has served as an investigator and consultant for national clinical trials on contact lenses for various contact lens companies around the US, as well as an investigator on numerous ophthalmogic allergy and dry eye drug trials. At Andover Eye Institue, he is actively involved in clinical trials pertaining to contact lenses, dry eyes, allergies and Phase IV post marketing studies. He has authored several articles that have been published in various ophthalmology and optometry journals and he has presented and lectured at various optometry and ophthalmology meetings both nationally and internationally.

Dr. Chin was awarded Fellowship to the American Academy of Optometry in 2006 in their Cornea and Contact Lens Section. Dr. Chin is also a Member of the Association for Research in Visual Ophthalmology (ARVO), and is board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.
