Dr. Gomez earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from SUNY College of Optometry, where she also completed a Master of Vision Science degree in Contact Lens-Induced Dry Eye. She also completed her residency in Primary Eye Care with an emphasis in Ocular Disease at SUNY Optometry and Woodhull Hospital. She currently supervises interns in both Primary Care and Contact Lens clinics, as well as teaching students in Clinical Optometry, Integrative Optics, and Contact Lens laboratories. In addition to teaching and supervising clinical interns and residents, Dr. Gomez actively participates in scholarly activities with a focus on the anterior segment and has presented at national conferences.
