Giancarlo Montani Dip. Optom

Giancarlo Montani, DipOptom (It), FBCLA, FEAOO, FAAO, has been involved in optometric education since 1988. He served as head of the Contact Lens Division at the Santa Chiara University Medical Centre in Pisa, Italy, until 2004. In 2007, Professor Montani co-founded the CeRCA Lab, a research center for contact lenses at the University of Salento (Lecce, Italy). He is currently a Professor of Contact Lenses at the University of Salento and also maintains a private optometric practice. Professor Montani has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed optometric journals and has been invited to lecture at several national and international optometry conferences.
