Dr. Spors is a Professor at Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona, California. He joined the College of Optometry as inaugural faculty member in 2009 and teaches courses in Optics and Contact Lenses. Dr. Spors holds a Ph.D. from Christian-Albrecht University of Kiel, Germany, a M.S. in Clinical Optometry from Salus University, Pennsylvania College of Optometry, and the European Diploma in Optics and Optometry. In addition, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Spors has research interests in the optics of spectacle lenses and contact lenses and in myopia progression management.
