Dr. Asghari serves as the Associate Director of Clinical Education at BostonSight and adjunct Clinical Faculty for NECO and MCPHS School of Optometry. She completed her Doctorate in Optometry from SCCO, graduating summa cum laude. She completed her post-doctoral residency in Cornea & Contact Lens and Ocular Disease from the Ohio State University. Dr. Asghari has extensive training in the management of severe ocular surface diseases and irregular corneas using complex scleral lens designs.
An active lecturer, published author, and researcher, she is committed to expanding knowledge of complex corneal diseases. Dr. Asghari serves on the board of the Intrepid Eye Society and is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Optometry and the Scleral Lens Education Society. She has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious 2021 Theia Award for Young OD of the Year by Women in Optometry for her leadership and contributions to the field.
