Dr. Ariel Cerenzie OD

Dr. Ariel Cerenzie is an optometrist specializing in myopia management and specialty contact lenses, with a passion for helping patients navigate complex vision challenges. She is the founder of both the Charlotte and Raleigh Contact Lens Institutes-practices which were built exclusively to serve those with irregular corneas, progressive myopia, and other advanced visual needs.

She earned her optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry and completed a Cornea and Contact Lens Residency at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Optometry and the Scleral Lens Education Society, and actively contributes to the profession through leadership, consulting, and speaking roles in national and international organizations. She is the Foundations chair for the International Congress of Scleral Contacts and a secretary for the Piedmont Optometric Society.

When she's not in the office, Dr. Cerenzie enjoys soaking up family time with her husband and their three little ones under the age of four.
