Amanda K Dieu OD

Dr. Amanda Dieu is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Oregon Health & Science University Casey Eye Institute in Portland, Oregon, specializing in specialty and medical contact lenses. Originally from California, she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley, before moving to Oregon to complete a fellowship in medical contact lenses at the Casey Eye Institute.

Dr. Dieu is the Director of the Medical Contact Lens Fellowship at Casey Eye and regularly instructs medical students, other health professions students, and ophthalmology fellows. She is experienced in fitting a wide range of contact lenses for highly irregular corneas and in managing complex ocular conditions. She is a Fellow of both the Scleral Lens Education Society and the American Academy of Optometry. Her clinical passions include prosthetic contact lenses and myopia management, where she is dedicated to improving both functional vision and quality of life for her patients.
