Alexandra Allen is a fourth year optometry student at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Born and raised in New Canaan, Connecticut, Alexandra always had a passion for science and an interest in eye care. She graduated from Duke University in 2022, earning a BS in Biology, as well as minors in Chemistry and Finance. Alexandra recently completed her private practice externship at North Range Eye Care in Denver, Colorado. She just started her final externship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Alexandra will graduate from SCO in May 2026, after which she hopes to complete a residency that combines her interests in Cornea & Contact Lens and Ocular Disease.
