My name is Alex Buitron. I am a third-year student at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) at Drexel University, currently enrolled in the Traditional Doctor of Optometry Program. My clinical interests are Specialty Contact Lenses and Neuro-Ophthalmic Disease. My interest in Optometry began in Junior year of High School when I had the opportunity to shadow an Optometrist for a day. I graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology Pre-Optometry. After finishing school, I hope to complete a residency program to further advance my knowledge in the field of Optometry. Outside of school, I enjoy going to the gym and spending time with my friends and family.
