Alex Bennett OD

Dr. Alex Bennett is a board certified optometrist practicing in greater Los Angeles, California. He is the owner of Leonard-Bennett Optometry, and its specialty vision counterpart the California Keratoconus Center.
Dr. Bennett earned his undergraduate degree in Natural Resources Management before spending 10 years as a board certified optician, learning the fundamentals of physical optics and spectacle lens fabrication. Dr. Bennett later earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California.
His clinical interests include specialty contact lens fitting, particularly scleral contact lenses, for patients with irregular corneas. These interests were discovered during his optometry school training, including mentorship from Dr. Barry Leonard, OD.
Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Bennett enjoys long-distance running, and has completed 6 marathons to date. He also enjoys spending time with his wife Tiffany, and their daughter Cami.
